AIRAC 2107/1 Release.
Sector File AIRAC 2106/01 Release notes.Dave Paton   2021-06-17 18:46:10 UTC
1.) Created Euroscope_Starter_Package. This package includes all files required for an initial setup of Euroscope.

2.) Created Euroscope_Update_Package. This package only contain the files that have been update since the last release.

3.) Corrected a spelling error in the .prf from CAATS TAG definations.txt to CAATS TAG definitions.txt.

4.) Added _1_ profiles to the Login profiles. e.g. CZVR_1_CTR, CYVR_1_APP etc. These can be selected for use when relieving a position so that you don't have to manual enter the information. They are currently only added for positions that do not have a middle letter. For example, they are not currently setup for positions such as CYVR_L_APP. Maybe I could set it up as _2_ for those positions.

5.) Updated Voice Channels. See 4.) above. Also updated AFV with the _1_ positions.

6.)Updated all ASRs to use the CSit tags as default except for the ground ASRs, they still use the SMR tags.

Note: Altitude x 100. e.g. 123 = 12,300' and 98 = 9,800'
c. Created CZVR_AMA.asr for quick viewing. Located in the ASR/CZVR_CTR folder.

2.) Added all FSS stations. I understand that FSS positions are in debate at this time but I've added them for if and when we decide to use them.

AIRAC 2103/01Dave Paton   2021-03-25 21:41:25 UTC
1.) Updated Lanley (CYNJ) ground layout to the new format. All tower controlled airports now have the new ground layout.
a. Updated CYNJ_GND.asr
b. Updated CYNJ_TWR.asr

2.) Added Take-Off Runway Available (TORA) to CYVR_GND.asr. Can be turned on and off in "Display seetings dialog: Freetext: CYVR Taxiways"

3.) Added CYVR_APP_CORRIDORS_08 and CYVR_APP_CORRIDORS_26. Can be turned on and off in "Display seetings dialog: ARTCC boundary"
a. Added CYVR_DEP_08.asr
b. Added CYVR_DEP_26.asr

4.) Added crossing altitudes to all STARS. Can be turned on and off in "Display seetings dialog: Freetext: xxx_X_"

/130 = At or below 13000'
/100/ = At 10000'
/120 100/ p/100/ = Jets between 12000' and 10000' and Props at 10000'

5.) Fixed a speeling error: CAATS TAG definations.txt is now CAATS TAG definitions.txt
a. Delete your CAATS TAG definations.txt file and replace it with CAATS TAG definitions.txt
b. Start Euroscope and click on "OTHER SET" then "Settings files setup"
c. Select "TAG definitions" then Browse to your settings folder and select the file "CAATS TAG definitions.txt" then click on "Save".
d. also click on "Save" in the Settings file setup window and then Close.
e. Exit Euroscope and when prompted to save the changes to your .prf, click on Save.

6.) Added CSit TAG family to CAATS TAG definitions.txt.
a. If you wish to use it? After opening an ASR, Open Display settings dialog and in "Tag family", select CSit and then Apply.

7.) Updated numerous ASRs. Be sure to overwrite all your ASRs.
Note: When running a APP or DEP position, load the APP.asr or DEP.asr. These ASRs are designed for use with IFR traffic. The TML.asr is designed to be used with VFR traffic (Very much a WIP). You can load both and switch between the two depending on traffic type. This cuts down on scope clutter.
AIRAC 2102/01Dave Paton   2021-02-25 16:04:35 UTC
1. Updated CYPK_GND to the new format. Just have CYNJ_GND left to update. WIP.

2. Added TML Floor altitudes under ARTCC_LOW. This negates the need to use FreeText Labels to display TML floors.

3. Added ASP (Assigned Speed) to the DATA TAG. Left clicking on ASP (in the tag) allows you to assign a speed in Knots and right clicking allows you to assign a MACH number.

4. Adjusted DATA TAG colors (Symbology settings) to better display Non-concerned, Concerned and Assumed aircraft.

5. Updated all ASR's to display the correct DATA TAG family. Some ASR's were set to use the Built-in Matais family. All ASR's for TWR positions and below (including FSS will use the vrVFR TAG family and all positions above TWR will use the vrIFR family. GND ASR's still use the SMR plugin TAG.

6. Renamed all FSS ASR's from TWR to FSS. e.g. CYCD_TWR.asr is now CYCD_FSS.asr. They are located in the TWR_ASR folder.

7. Added TLM 2way VFR routes under the GEO section. You can see them when loading a TML.asr. The VFR stuff is still very much a WIP.
AIRAC 2101/01Dave Paton   2021-01-28 21:40:08 UTC
1. Updated Prince George ground layout to the new format.

2. Updated CYXS_GND.asr and CYXS_TWR.asr

3. Added Castlegar Radio. CYCG_F_TWR freq 122.100. (Shares the same freq as CYCD_F_TWR so I'm not sure how this is going to work if CYCD_F_TWR and CYCG_F_TWR are online at the same time?)

4. Added CYCG_F_TWR.asr

5. Added Vancouver Outer Tower. CYVR_O_TWR freq 125.650. This is for VFR traffic and has no effect on IFR traffic. It is owned by CYVR_TWR if CYVR_O_TWR is not staffed. CYVR_TWR owns CYVR_N_TWR and CYVR_O_TWR when those positions are not staffed but CYVR_O_TWR and CYVR_N_TWR do not own CYVR_TWR if CYVR_TWR is not staffed.

6. Updated CYVR_TWR_26.asr and CYVR_TWR_08.asr

7. Fixed the GND split line showing when only CYVR_GND was staffed. It will still show when GND is split but only to ground controllers.

8. Added all VFR checkpoints that are on the Vancouver VTA. They can be selected through the Display/Freetext. Each VFR checkpoint has a corresponding fix associated with it. e.g. Coal Pyle VCPYL. All VFR fixes start with VC and are 5 character. The associated fix can be turned on in the Display/Fix.

9. I have created a .csv file called LittleNavMap_Vancouver_VFR_Checkpoints.csv that can be imported into Little Nav Map. The file is in the Plugins Folder. To import it, when in LNM, Click on Userpoints and select Import CSV, navigate to the file. This will show all VFR checkpoints and their associated fix name. You can also add them to your flight plan.

10. Updated vSMR to v1.5. This will allow you to add text to the A/C tag after they have landed. Right click on the bottom left of the tag to enter text. Make sure you overwrite your vSMR.dll and vSMR_Profiles.json files located in the plugins folder.

11. I have been experimenting with adding SIDs and STARs for VFR Arrivals and Departures. This is still very much a WIP. You can select a VFR dep or arr in the SID/STAR dropdown list. They are named after their corresponding FIX ID. e.g. HAIDA DEP is CVHDA. If there is a transition, for example Garry Point DEP Sandheads transition then it will be name after the departure fix with the transition attached. e.g. VCGAR-S. Unfortunately I can only give them a max 7 character name.

AIRAC 2014

We now have CZVR_F_CTR (Pacific Radio) Controls all MF zones when they are not owned. CYZT_F_TWR (Port Hardy Radio) Controls CYZT MF and CYAZ MF when CYAZ MF is not controlled. CYAZ_F_TWR (Also Port Hardy Radio) Controls CYAZ MF even if CYZT_F_TWR is online. ASRs for these positions added.
